Nice to meet you!

Why Wild Fig?

Wild fig trees can grow their roots 400 feet into the ground.

These trees have the deepest roots on the planet!

I see lactation as a way to establish deep roots for your family and your new relationship.

My name is Abigail Eisley (she/her). Thank you for being here!

I live in Baltimore City with my husband and daughter. We love spending time in nature, traveling, and exploring everything the city has to offer. My favorite Baltimore meals are the Ekiben tofu brah bowl with tempura broccoli, and Comptoir COVID lockdown sandwiches…iykyk!

I have been a Registered Nurse for ten years, and an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) for seven. I've worked in the hospital setting, local health departments, and in the community doing in-home assessments for Medicaid programs.

My own breastfeeding story started with some unexpected challenges. My daughter and I struggled through tongue and lip ties, low-milk supply, ineffective latch, and postpartum anxiety. Even after working with so many parents and babies in my career, I faced many unknowns. It was a great reminder that every family is different and has unique, nuanced needs!

With the support of my healthcare team, I was able to address our issues, come up with a plan, and get back to enjoying my postpartum time.

My goal is to do the same for you!
