Plan ahead and get a virtual prenatal lactation class scheduled! In this one-on-one appointment, you’ll learn how to get started, what to do if you’re struggling, what you really need to put on your registry, and the biological norms for infant feeding.
You’ll also get priority scheduling when you deliver (if in the Baltimore area)! Appointments are typically 60-90 minutes.

We try to see brand new babies in your home within a few days of discharge (priority goes to prenatal patients). We will complete a feeding assessment (with a weighted feed), oral exam, pump flange fitting (if needed), assess milk supply, and make sure you have a doable plan going forward.
Frequency of follow-up appointments depends on your unique needs. We will schedule follow-ups with you.
-
We can work with you on bottle refusal, tongue and lip ties, nursing strikes, weaning, going back to work, and whatever else you may need at any point of the lactation relationship.
These can be in-home or virtual, depending on your needs.
We are in-network with these insurances: Carefirst/BCBS/Anthem, Aetna/Meritain, and United Healthcare.
Make sure you understand what your plan covers! More details about insurance here.
We provide in-home visits in all of Baltimore City and some parts of Baltimore County (Pikesville, Parkville, Towson, Lutherville, Timonium, Cockeysville). If you are unsure if we will come to you, please submit and we will let you know.
